Perhaps the most profound movement of decolonization has been the Rhodes Must Fall movement in South Africa. This movement galvanized students throughout the UK to ask; why is my curriculum white? More recently at SOAS and LSE calls for decolonization have helped catalyze protests and discussion. Our objective for this open Panel Q&amp;A is to ask: what is decolonization? Is there a need to decolonize? What is missing from the curriculum? Who is impacted? What is the importance of identity and belonging in the curriculum? And finally, what are the potential solutions? To help explore these questions, we have invited 4 scholars and two Masters Students from different academic fields, in order to critically engage with the questions, and discuss with the audience how the West imposes Eurocentric values as the core of university curriculum.
