University of Portsmouth’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are currently advertising a number of fully funded PhD bursaries for an Autumn 2017 start. Members of CRaB welcome expressions of interest by applicants with an interest in researching topics related to Citizenship, ‘Race’ and Belonging. Applications are particularly encouraged that will address potential interdisciplinary connections within the broad themes of Security and risk or Democratic citizenship.
The Bursaries are offered for full-time, Home or EU candidates only. Applicants will be expected to have, or be completing, a Master’s degree in an appropriate subject. Exceptionally, equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 31st January 2017.
